A big batch of changes are coming to Teamfight Tactics: Reckoning, as most of its meta compositions have settled in among the favourites of many players. So for patch 11.12 Riot will focus on revitalizing the state of the game, with many changes announced to several traits and units who have seen low pick rates.

The Armor will be restocked as well with more powerful items, along with updates to the loot orbs, and last but not least, the first special event of this auto battler will make its debut, bringing free rewards for those who join the fight against the Black Mist.

Patch 11.12: Champion changes

The biggest changes are coming with balance updates to some mages like Brand and LeBlanc, with the first receiving a bug fix to limit the amount of mana he can recover with items, and the latter moving from being a carry to have more of an utility role.

Patch 11.12: Systems changes

The loot orbs will receive some tweaks as two rare drops from TFT: Fates have been brought back from the vault: the Reforger and the Magnetic Remover. As with the previous set, Force of Nature and (in this case) Force of Darkness cannot be rerolled using the Reforger.

The Armory will also appear more frequently, featuring more powerful and varied items, to encourage flexible play by reducing the consistency of item combos, allowing for more decisive plays such as adjusting your team composition to fit an item.

  • 3-2 Armory (Changed): 2 Regular Components ⇒ 1 Shadow, 1 Regular
  • 4-2 Armory (Removed): Removing the 4-2 Armory to prevent against forcing builds and an overabundance of items.
  • Armory Frequency: Starting on Stage 4, the Second Round of each Stage has a chance to have an additional Armory, including Consumables, Item Components, Combined Items, and Emblems.
  • Later stage drops are more powerful. A Stage 6+ Armory will no longer offer item components, and later Stage armories can offer Emblems for traits that you are playing.
  • Hyper Roll Armory: A bonus Armory can appear on 5-2, 7-2, 9-2, etc.
  • Hyper Roll Basic Armory rounds have been shuffled slightly to accommodate the newly stocked Armory.

Finally, the Base Critical Strike Damage of all units will be reduced to 130%, to allow for more offensive item diversity, more damage consistency, and more elegant balance solutions in the future.

Patch 11.12: Skyglass Origins event

To close this patch, the Skyglass Origins event will be available from 15th June to 7th July, where players will help assemble the missing Skyglass pieces through a series of 15 missions. Each completed quest will earn you free rewards, and also let you know the secrets of the Skyglass to face the power of the Black Mist and the Chaos Pengu.

The arrival of this event will also bring the debut of the Skyglass Eggs, coming to the in-game store for a price or 390 RP each and which will give players the chance to get the first-ever Mythic tier Little Legend, URF Dowsie.

More details on the missions of the event will be revealed later on, meanwhile prepare yourself for the start of this new patch, and we wish you good luck in your journey in the Convergence.
