Security experts have explored the internet and uncovered a YouTube channel under the handle, ModdedController360. Chalamet was a gaming YouTuber, as he admitted to it in an interview this month.
Was Chalamet a YouTuber?
According to the Vice investigation, Chalamet’s YouTube channel featured videos where the actor showcased paint-modded Xbox 360 controllers. With assistance from security experts at Bellington Aric Toller, the Vice team compiled information to support a theory that had been floating online since 2018.
In their investigation, the Vice team explained that they had yet to receive comment from his team to confirm if their findings were indeed accurate. However, while speaking to online personality Nate Hill, Chalamet didn’t hold back on his admission to the existence of the YouTube channel.
“I had a YouTube channel people found, the Dune actor admitted. “It’s a YouTube dot com backslash’ ModdedController360. And I used to paint-mod controllers.”
Exploring the YouTube channel, which has only three videos and nearly 500,000 views, the last video upload dates back to 17th March 2010 which garnered almost 300,000 views. This video featured a red tiger-striped paint job in which Chalamet had commented the controller to look “nice and it looks sexy”.
The actor’s face may not be present in any of the videos uploaded to the channel; it’s quite apparent that the actor had a brief and promising YouTube career. He may have gone to appear in several notable films, including Dune, since the start of his acting career. Maybe it’s time for the actor to revisit ModdedController360, perhaps?!
